Product Manager

Role Description:

The core technological feature for any Online Marketing company today is its ability to track events.  At Raktuen Marketing, we consider our ability to track all types of events as being our most prized technological achievement.  We are working on upgrading our current tracking solution and this role is for a Product Manager as part of the team working on this effort.   

Responsibilities:

Understanding the key requirements that are needed for the tracking system.  This should include backward compatibility, and deprecation of unused or low value features.

Analyze and make new feature recommendations based on customer and product understanding.

Perform competitive analyses and determine new functionalities that we need to support.

Define requirement specifications for enhancements to existing products.

Work with downstream partners to create Standard Operation Procedures 

Prioritize stories/features based on value and relevance.

Track delivery of tasks for each story to ensure overall timeliness of the effort.

Coordinate work effort between the team members that are distributed across the globe.

Build reports to demonstrate progress to goal of delivery.

Be data driven.  Know how you’re measuring success before you start a project.  

Required Skills:

A BS degree in a computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience.

4 years’ experience as a Product Development Analyst or a Technical Business Analyst

A track record in technology requirements specification and product development including design of interactive web applications.

A strong technical background in a business context.

At least 1 year of experience with Agile development

Knowledge of the Application Service Provider industry. 

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)

Strong communication (oral/written) and analytical skills  

Preferred/Desired Skills: (not required, but a plus)

Skill in building wireframes and User Interface Design

Familiarity with on-line marketing and affiliate marketing

Experience with e-commerce or online marketing applications

Familiarity with decision support, analytical applications, or CRM

Familiarity with innovative requirements management and product management tools/methodologies ·        

Experience working with distributed teams (locations, time zones)
